HOW DO I BECOME AN APPRENTICE?

If you’re up to the challenge and are interested in becoming an ironworker and live in one of the following counties – Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Huntingdon, Juniata, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union, York and portions of Lancaster, Lebanon and Schuylkill Countiesplease visit the Local 404 Union Hall for an application

Apprenticeship applications are accepted Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm at Ironworkers Local 404 Union Hall, 981 N Peiffers Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109. 

When you come in to fill out an Application, you will needyour valid Drivers License, your High School Dipolma or GED, and Proof of a Recent Physical.
You will also need access to a car – many job sites are in remote areas that are NOT served by public transportation.
You must complete the application here!

Applications are kept on file until needed.

Testing and accepting of an apprentice class depends on work situation and the project need.
